Prakash NanduriCo-Founder and CEO
A seasoned entrepreneur and enterprise software visionary with over 20 years experience in both start-up and large companies. He was the Co-Founder and VP of Velosel Corporation (acquired by TIBCO, 2005), a pioneer of the Master Data Management (MDM) space. At Velosel, he drove the strategy and growth of the company, securing over $40 Million in venture capital financing, recruiting a senior management team, and serving on the Board of Directors. Prakash led the post-merger integration effort at TIBCO, then spent three years at SAP as the Head of Product and Technology Strategy within the Office of the CEO. At SAP, he was responsible for key strategic initiatives including the SAP Big Data (Hana) business strategy.
Dave BrewsterCo-Founder and CTO
A serial entrepreneur and seasoned enterprise software technology leader with more than 20 years experience in successfully architecting and delivering scalable technology platforms. He was one of the lead platform development engineers at NetDynamics (acquired by Sun, 1998), a pioneer in the Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) application server market. Dave then served as Chief Architect at Cascade Works (acquired by Elance), a leading services procurement application provider. Dave also was Chief Architect and Head of Platform development at Guidewire (IPO, January 2012), where he was responsible for architecting and building the Guidewire platform. He led a team of 40 developers delivering four major core enterprise applications to over 100 customers all running on a single, highly scalable, and extensible platform.
Chris MaddoxCo-Founder and VP, Business Development
An accomplished sales and business development executive with 20 years of sales, business development, strategy, marketing, and operations experience in the enterprise software industry. Chris was a member of the founding sales team at Guidewire Software (IPO, January 2012) where he helped grow the company from zero to over 100 customers, drove their expansion internationally, and secured key enterprise customers such as AXA, RBS, Suncorp, and Zurich. Prior to Guidewire, Chris led sales, business development, and channel operations for Enterworks helping it become a leader in MDM and multichannel marketing. More recently, Chris developed the sales and strategic partnerships organization for SupportSpace, a white labeled enterprise cloud-based, SaaS platform delivering on-demand remote technology support solutions.
Nenshad BardoliwallaCo-Founder and Chief Product Officer
An executive and thought leader with a proven track record of success leading product strategy, product management, and development in business analytics. Bardoliwalla co-founded Tidemark Systems, Inc. where he drove the market, product, and technology efforts for their next-generation analytic applications built for the cloud. He formerly served as VP for product management, product development, and technology at SAP where he helped to craft the business analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap leading to the acquisitions of Pilot Software, OutlookSoft, and Business Objects. Prior to SAP, he helped launch Hyperion System 9 while at Hyperion Solutions. Nenshad began his career at Siebel Systems working on Siebel Analytics. Nenshad is also the lead author of Driven to Perform: Risk-Aware Performance Management From Strategy Through Execution.
Shankar GanapathyChief Revenue Officer
Shankar is Paxata’s Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for driving the company’s long-term profitable revenue generation strategies. He leads all field, sales operations, and go-to-market teams at Paxata. Prior to Paxata, Shankar was with MicroStrategy where, as an early employee, he was integral to building out a highly effective go-to-market organization. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President in charge of the company’s Asia-Pacific and Japan operations and was instrumental in driving significant scale and growth in that business. Prior to that, Shankar developed and grew MicroStrategy’s Channels business globally and also held leadership positions in the company’s Professional Services business. Shankar was educated at the Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee), MIT and Yale University. He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, multiple graduate degrees (MS, MPhil and PhD) and has completed Post-Doctoral studies in Engineering and Applied Science.
Piet LoubserSVP and Global Head of Marketing
A software marketing executive and thought leader with 30 years experience leading high-tech marketing organizations. Most recently, Piet was the VP Product and Solutions Marketing at Hortonworks helping them grow past $250M in annual revenues with a 40% growth rate. Prior to that Piet held senior marketing and sales leadership positions at Informatica, HP, SAP and Business Objects, designing GTM strategies to create new market categories and accelerating growth. Having worked in industry leading companies across the data management and analytics landscape, Piet is a thought leader and frequent keynote speaker on how organizations leverage the power of data to drive digital transformation.
Jayanta BhowmikVP of Engineering
A seasoned executive with 25 years of product engineering experience, Jayanta came to Paxata from Workday where he was the VP of Engineering for Workday Financials and scaled an engineering team from 120 to 360 engineers. Prior to Workday, he was co-founder and CTO of Plexogenic, a startup company that was democratizing clinical healthcare data for patients using ONC’s Direct Secure Messaging protocol. He served as VP of Engineering at Optum, where he delivered their first multi-tenant SaaS Health Information Exchange. As a Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, he managed a globally distributed engineering team in four continents. Earlier in his career, Jayanta held multiple engineering roles at Oracle, and worked at IBM where he helped code compilers.
Dan ZimanVP Marketing
As an innovative and award-winning marketing executive, Dan has deep experience in enterprise B2B marketing leadership. Dan has led numerous marketing teams at both public and privately-held tech companies including TIBCO, Lithium, and Hortonworks, and now leads Paxata’s corporate and field marketing. Dan takes an account-centric and integrated campaign approach to digital, social, email, content, and events to build consistent demand gen programs and brand awareness. While at Hortonworks, Dan completely rebuilt the global digital strategy and revenue generation programs, which increased marketing sourced opportunities by 50%. Prior to Hortonworks, Dan developed the corporate, customer, AR, and field marketing strategy for Lithium.
David LevingerVP of Technical Operations and Support
David leads the teams responsible for Paxata’s Multi-tenant Cloud and Development operations as well as technology across internal software, hardware, security, telephony. For the last eight years, he has mentored and led successful IT/DevOps personnel who build IT/DevOps processes and infrastructure from the ground up, which have stood the test of time. Prior to joining Paxata, David was at Guidewire Software Inc., where he led a team of 20+ who built scalable development infrastructure and core IT systems which supported the worldwide Guidewire operations.
